Hi

I would like to know what is the difference between SHR, OLD, MOD. As far as I know if we give SHR option we can just read the file but not modify the file. But when i used IEBGENER step using SHR option for input and ouptput file the job was able to copy the input file into the output file.

Could anybody help what exactly the difference between SHR, OLD and MOD

Thanks
Eswar
