I made no of search attempts before posting this query.
What is the difference between Edit and Select Edit(option no. 14) in Action for Member popup
i.e 1)Goto 3.4 from Primary ISPF screen.
2)Open a dataset in Edit mode
3)Give / befor any member then we will get this Action for Member popup

FYI

If we open a dataset in Browse mode then option 14 will be Select Browse
and if we open a dataset in View mode then option 14 will be Select View
in Action for Member popup

If you press <HELP> while the pop-up is shown and read thru it you'll see that option 14 "Select xxxxx" shows what will happen if you use the "S" (select) line command on a member. For example, when VIEWing, the "V" and "S" options are identical.
