Hi,

Can any one give me the command to search for a string in multiple datasets in mainframe.

nadh,

You have various options.

1. Panel 3.12 & 3.13 - SuperC Search & SuperC Extended Search. It is a very user friendly screen. All you need to give is the search dataset/datasets, search string & search mode (foreground / Batch).

2. Fileaid / Insync....Third party tools.

I believe, the first one (SuperC - ISRSUPC) will be available in almost every mainframe shop.
