Hi,

As per my understanding, in Endevor, the element is generated in DEVL-A, DEVL-B or PREP but not in PROD.

Now, I have an element in PROD, which was not bound before moving to PROD. I need to bind this program. The Bind Card is already present in PROD.

One way is to get the program and Bind Card into PREP, and generate the program again and then move it back to PROD. But this will require a certain series of authorizations and procedures but I need to resolve it today (weekend) and hence would be difficult to follow all these procedures.

Is there a way by which I can bind my program directly in production (PROD) ? I have heard about some option COPY BACK but don't know, how to use it.

Can someone please throw some light on this.

I hope you resolved your problem yesterday.

In our shop, COPYBACK works downward from PROD, not upwards to PROD, so that wouldn't help. I think you need to discuss this with your colleagues, as every Endevor implementation appears to be different.

Good luck.

Thanks Mervyn,

In our shop, we can use COPYBACK to generate an element in PROD. Basically, the element might be generated in PREP or DEVL (in background) but is finally copied back to PROD.

So one ticket / approval did the job for me Smile
