Hi,

I have the problem to find some documentation about how to make a file transfer to the USS.
I have a file on my workstation and want to move it to the USS.
In the "UNIX Guide" I read, that it is possible to make filetransfer per FTP or per nfs.
when i use ftp i only come to the mvs enviroment.

my next idea was, what i transfer the file to mvs and then use the command "oput".
i get the error, that it is not impossible to open the hfs file on the USS.

Thanks.

Sorry about my english. i am an apprenticeship in germany Smile

Workstation means a PC or a Mainframe workstation?

If it is a mainframe then check this link

Hope this helps...

Cheers

in FTP you can cd to a unix directory... cd /u/ollo and that will switch you to the USS side. to get back, use a data set name... cd 'ollo.clist'
