I recently changed the local time to reflect the change of time from Standard time to Daylight Savings. After the clock change, all JES output creation timestamps for jobs processed prior to the time change were bumped up one hour from the actual creation time. All output created after the time change is not affected. IBM JES supports states that the time offset from GMT is stored in the output JOE control block at creation time. SDSF uses this offset to determine the creation timestamp when displaying output datasets. This can be a little confusing to operators and programmers, but it does make sense as everything should be driven off of GMT. Is there something I can do to have SDSF resolve the times so as not to confuse people?
Thanks,
