Drop using JCL

Hi,

I have two files with data in it.

File A is having date from colum. 10-17. File B is having date in colum 40-47. I have to compare these dates.
If the date in file B is greater than the date in file A, I have to drop this record from file B.
Please let me know if this can be done in JCL.
