1. i want to know what is ADF IN IMS
And how it is used
2. when a db srch field is expanded but it can be adjusted within the
extra length of the segment then the DBA in my installation says he does
an ACBGEN And he says because of this all DBD, PSB of all the pgms will be regenerated or taken care.
Can someone give me an idea of what happens when we do ACBGEN

ADF - This is documented in the IMS Admin Guide - DB.
ACBGEN - This is documented in IMS Utilities - System.
