Hi,
Can anybody assist me in coding the BUFSP parameter for a KSDS file in a job. Is there any way to find the allocation of optimum number of bytes to BUFSP. Also, let me know if there are any standards for coding BUFNI and BUFND parameters.
I need to code the BUFNI, BUFND and BUFSP parameters for a KSDS file which is on 3390 devise type. The attributes of the are as follows.
Average record size: 369
Maximum record size: 370
KSDS key length: 27
no.of records in the file : 2500 (approximately)
Data C/I size : 24576
Index C/I size : 1024
what are the optimum buffer values for above 3 parameters to speed up the accessing of the records. |
