Hi all,

I have a doubt whether a VSAM File can be updated in Share mode.Please excuse me if I am wrong.

I did an analysis for taking a Backup of a file.I gave a search in revove for the related Info.To my surprise all the Jcls are using the intended file in Share mode.DISP=SHR Hence I have doubt whether the file can be updated with SHR Mode.
