Hi,

According to all jcl and gdg setup we SHOULD have 15 months worth of the data saved. However, if we look in TMS some of them have been SCRATCHED and written over by ADABAS backups.

can you tell me if we have TMS reports viewable online somewhere to see the current

If you have CA-1 (TMS) then you could run a report of all scratch volumes. There is no way to view the current scratch pool online.

If the tapes were scratched prior to the expected EXPDT, run a TMSAUDIT report on the volumes to see if the EXPDTs were changed and by whom.
