Hi, All,

Not sure if this is best forum for question, but...

I'm a seasoned iSeies programmer (COBOL, RPG, CLP, SQL, DB2) on my 1st day at a new MVS/ISAM job. As you might suspect, I'm hearing a lot of buzz-words that aren't part of my existing knowledgebase.

What's the quickest way for an iSeries developer to get up to speed on the dfferent concepts and tools of the mainframe world? How much of my iSeries background is transferable?

It would be great to have a quick, high-level overview followed by more detailed information on the concepts and tools that are new to me.
