Hi,

how we come to know how many records are sorted with out using any counters.

I mean is there any register to check how many records are sorted for internal sort

yrcreddy,

By default , SORT diagnostic messages(Input/count along with DCB properties of input/output) are sent to the SYSOUT data set. you can check the sysout.

I have a Program. After the Internal Sort I want the count of number of records. If the sorted records are more than one, I need to process further. Please let me know is there any special register for counting the number of sorted records.
