We have KSDS files which are said to be single compressed/double compressed. Can anyone let me know any info on site or manuals regarding different types of compression.
When we use these files through cobol we just invoke assembler file access programs which do the work for us and even decompress and pass the data back to us,being non familiar with 15 registers and numerous instructions have not tried to dig much into them.
