Hi All,
Please clarify my doubt.
1)Is semicolon allowed in the IBM VS-COBOL-II programs?If yes what are the chances?And Is comma allowed in between the filenames? |

If you are not aware , this site also hosts manuals and most of the questions can be answered if you spend time reading it.
Click on the "quick manuals" link on the top of the this page
In the link click on VS COBOL II Language Reference manual under VS COBOL II section.
Click on icon type and semicolon and press Enter.
Now go thru the topics which will answer your questions.
2. Click on the "quick manuals" link on the top of the this page
In the link click on Z/OS V1R4.0 MVS JCL Reference under JCL section.
Click on icon type and dsname and press Enter.
Now go thru the topics which will answer your questions.

Just a reminder, that version of the COBOL compiler has been out of service for about 20 years. I don't remember the exact dates, but it has been quite a while. _________________ Chuck Haatvedt
