Murthy,
FPP stands for Fast Path potential transaction i.e A transaction type that can be routed to either EMH(Expedited Message Handler) or TM(Transaction Manager) processing.
Fast Path are usually IMS functions for applications that require [b]good/faster response characteristics and that may have large transaction volumes. Programs have rapid access to main-storage databases (to the field level), and to direct-access data entry databases.
The FPP can be defined using the TRANSACT macro when defining the transaction to IMS
