Hi,

I have a JCL that runs in production region.This Jcl creates a SEQ file every time it runs.But for the past 2 weeks, the job is getting abended because the size of the file it is creating is not sufficient.Then we increased the SPACE parameter and rolled back into production.Though it ran fine for one run,it again abended with the same issue.
But this time instead of increasing the space again, we are trying for a permanent fix.

What is the solution?Can i use "dataclas=dccomp"

THRIVIKRAM, the DATACLAS parameter is site-specific. Only your colleagues can tell you whether you can use DATACLAS=DCCOMP.
