Hi Every body,

I have a doubt. Consider we have a file which contains COMP, COMP1, COMP2, COMP3 data. Is there any way to find and say(by direclty looking the data from the file) this value belongs to COMP1 value or COMP3 or COMP?

And can any one ple breif me about the difference b.w Internal and External Floating points and Internal decimal items?

By reading some doc i understood how these Data items vary with storage. But with the above said questions am quite confused. So ple reply in breif.

Thanks for your support.

With Regards

vsr100481,

No. To some extent you can identify the COMP-3 data with HEX on but not comp and comp1 .

Check this link which explains about the external floating points.
