Running zOS1.7 communications server with a static route table. In the gateway statement a segment reads
172.25.101 10.30.1.22 OSA40 8992 HOST DELAYACKS
172.25.101.6 10.30.1.22 OSA40 8992 HOST DELAYACKS
Isn't the second route covered by the first entry? I am curious if the second entry is actually needed?
Thanks

The 1st statement doesn't make sense to me. It appears to be saying.. to get to host 172.25.101 then use link osa40, etc. However that address is a subnet, not a host. Someone may need to review the entire gateway section. |
