When I put TAPE against a particular tape dataset it displays the following.

EDG3201I THE ENTRY IS NOT DEFINED TO DFSMSrmm

Why is that?

TAPE is not a standard TSO command. It is your shop specific Clist/rexx routine, which isssue a LIST dataset RMM command against the dataset. so you need to contact your system programmers who wrote the exec.
