hi,
i work for a very big bank.

we write Natural programs for online 3270 mainframe applications. there's also some applications written in cobol cics but it's just a few one.

they said they wanted to migrate the online systems to JAVA three years ago because it's free.

now they say they want to migrate the Natural applications to cobol cics, just because it's more doable.

i wonder what kind of technology for online 3270 mainframe applications people is using around.
