We have version 7.1.0 of DB2 Admin Tools. Under P - Change DB2 Admin parameters, 2 - Change DB2 Admin defaults, you can change some defaults. I change the "Max No of Rows to Fetch" to zero, and also change the "Reset to Def. at Startup" to NO. But at some point this keeps resetting back to 1000 and YES. Is there some secret to retaining this setting for a given ISPF user? The Users Guide states that when this "Reset to Def" is set to NO, "DB2 Admin attempts to restore the CURRENT SQLID." Can I have some explanation on this please, and why are these settings getting reset? Is this somehow tied to a TSO Userid? Could my shop perhaps have something in place to prevent users from overriding these defaults (I would ask them, but they probably either won't answer, or don't know). Where would I look to see how this is set up (if as a non-DBA, I am permitted to look)? _________________ Bev. |
