Manoj_Nayak,

Are you referring to the Column/Field 'MC' in SDSF Panel??? It means "Message Class" - displays the message class coded in your job.

Message Class

Where did you get the word "Monitor Call" Question

Hope this helps,

Thanks,
Phantom

manoj nayak,

If you are talking about Assembler then MC is indeed a Monitor Call

Code:

*** The MONITOR CALL instruction ***

Instruction Format:   MC    D1(B1),I2                Operation Code (Hex): AF

Examples:   MC    X'E0F',2                 GENERATE A MONITOR CALL
                                                     INTERRUPT IN CLASS 2

Description:   The  MONITOR CALL instruction  causes a program
interruption if the appropriate bit in control
register 8 is one (i.e., if monitoring is active for
                      that class of interrupts).

This instruction can be used to trace program events
with GTF, the MVS Generalized Trace Facility.

Condition Code:   The condition code is not changed by this instruction.

Hope this helps...

Cheers

Kolusu
