Hi All,

Can I obtain a record level lock in VSAM file.

If I use share level option 2, it will lock the whole dataset.
In my online program I have to select the record and only after confirmation (PF5) I should Delete or update a record.

As more than one user can access the file at the same time,
How to maintain data integrity?

I searched the forum for the answer but I did not found any,
