Hi,

I have a requirement which is my application should be available 24/7, currently it is available for 16hrs only.
This application runs in production CICS region 1, this region is down for 8 hrs for maintenance (Batch cycle starts) , so I am planning to switch this application to other region which is CICS region2 for 8 hrs to make the application availability 24hrs,

Can any one please advise how to do this? What are the steps are involved.

Note: Application uses DB2, ADABAS and VSAM, Batch may updates this database ( in span of 8hrs ) ,but online application is read only.

sorry js, can't help you with my knowledge.
For newbies, this is an interesting read which I came across while googling.

Full CICS 24x7 Services - Is the technology there yet ?
