|
|
Hi team,
I have a file which has been sorted and has duplicates - intentionally(haven't used sumfields to eliminate them)
Using SORT, Is it possible to get the count of each repeated record in another file ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

csk,
If those links don't help, please show an example of the records in your input file and what you expect for output. Give the RECFM and LRECL of the input file. Give the starting position, length and format of the relevant fields. _________________ Frank Yaeger - DFSORT Development Team (IBM)
