Hi,

This is regarding a CICS DB2 Webservice that I was testing recently.

-- I created a Web Service out of a CICS-DB2 Program.
-- Then I made the DB2C, DB2E and DB2T enteries in Mainframe.
-- I then FTPed my WSDL to Windows to test it via WDZ 6.0
-- When I tried testing my WSDL, it was giving me a DB2 -922 Authorization error.
-- When I contacted the DB2 Admin, he said that the plan name is not same as my Web Service name as so its not detecting the plan at run time.

Is it required that for Web Services, we need to have the plan name same as the Program Name ? I think that as in DB2T and DB2E, we dont give Program names so when the Webservice hits MF, as it is not having the Tran name with it, its not able to detect the DB2T and DB2E enteries and thus it looks for the same plan name as the program name.

I'm not sure if this deduction is proper. If this is true then it means that i have to create a DB2 Plan for each of the DB2 Program that i'm converting to a Web Service.

Any thoughts ?

Appreciate if someone can share any information that they have on "DB2 Enteries required for a Web Service"

Thanks,
Deepesh
