I'm looking for an IMS UNLOAD Utility and Sample JCL to sweep a particular record (called a segment I think) and write out to a sequential output file. Does anyone have such JCL or can point me to an IBM manual that describes that function?? I ran a batch job yesterday that was supposed to load transactions. Now I want to Dump them out so I can check them.

Hi,

Please use Fileaid utility , option 4 to extract the IMS databse to a sequential file.
