Where can I get a list of all the disadvantages or drawbacks of stored procedures?
What are the major disadvantages/drawbacks of using stored procedures in a mainframe environmenet?

Bakul,
You have asked a very generic question. You would have to browse thru the manuals to understand the various options available. Stored Procedure is like a 'tool', not all tools can be used all the time. It depends on the requirement. It's not only what SP's can do, there is also a lot about the interfaces - like DB2 Connect. Its certainly not recommended for use within MVS like a batch process. It is designed for a middle tier application to access the data on a minframe - DB2 (though other medium can be accessed, its not recommended). Thanks
