Hi All,
it is necessary to check routinely if any outputs with the specific mask (e.g. ABC*) are in JES output queue. If any output exists than I'll send a email and if not than it's OK. How to do such check in batch? |

Alex,
You have got a few things going on here; possibly you could have been more specific in your requirements. However, what I do know, is that all the answers to your question are contained in this BB - scattered in several places.
You will need to conduct three basic searchs on this BB. (1) Getting spool output into a dataset; (2) sending email via MVS batch job; (3) searching for a mask.
All the stuff is on this BB. It would be a good exercise for you to try and assemble the pieces yourself, and get it working. |

MikeBaker, kolusu, thanks for help. Actually, I've looked over above links, but I wonder if it's possible to make good use of interface(? API?) which SDSF exploits to display job queue and so on? In general, how does SDSF work with JES? |
