At a rough guess, if you're trying to view a dataset that already exists, you should enter the dataset name where I've indicated below (the member name would be optional)
Code:
RPF UTILITY entry: Userid= IBMUSER---------------------------------------------
Option ===> 1 Hit PF03/15 to return
1 ALLOCATE OS - Change Allocations and edit/browse
Change options if desired:
Upper case= YES (YES or NO)
Load append= NO (YES or NO) Line numbers= YES (YES or NO)
Data set information (blank Dsname to edit current workspace)
Member= mmmmmmmm ,Dsname= dddddddd.dddddddd.dddddddd
Volume= ,Ddname= RPFWORK
Or select 1 of the datasets below (Enter any char. before the dataset name):
1> ,Volume= **
2> ,Volume= **
3> ,Volume= **.
But I am only guessing. Perhaps you could make your intentions a little plainer? _________________ The day you stop learning the dinosaur becomes extinct
