Hi,
I'm currently investigating a project to transform our current file transfer process.
I'm looking to find information and/or gather opinions on various mainframe file transfer products.
Currently we run connect:direct but we'd like to be able to scrap this in the future.
Ideally a replacement would also give users some kind of panel driven tool to do file transfers - nice but not necessary.
Any information would be great.
Thanks, Julie |

While I would support the continued use of CONNECT:Direct for Enterprise-wide file transfers, I also like the CONNECT:Enterprise and CONNECT:Gateway products also. In your case, the available CICS interface would probably work very well. |

We have NetView File Transfer (NFTP) from IBM. Mostly used by batch but it does have an ISPF interface. |
