I dont know much of IDMS but i am looking for some information by which i can offload records from a IDMS table to a flat file and vice-versa.

Brian, when you say IDMS table do you mean the records in IDMS where data is stored ? Table in IDMS may mean differently.

If you want to unload data, you need to do a sweep program use fast access card. which is the quickest way to do .

If I have heard right there is a utility to dump data from IDMS like Bulk Copy used in SQl server.

If you ask your DBA they may provide you right info. If you dont get em lemme know i will ask oru DBA and find out for ya.
