Gurus'

I am trying to punch the members of a PDS and I am using IEBPTPCH utility. I am intereseted in punching only a few members based on the member name. I want to punch members whose name starts with JV,JC or JE. Is it possible to do so Question

Thanks,
Ram

Kolusu,

My earlier question was to get the member names only. The present one is related to printing the contents of the members. I tried searching all the manuals to find if there is a way to use wildcards in IEBPTPCH. Thanks for letting me know that the wild card feature is not supported. I was looking for a way for punching a few members instead of all. Looks like there is no other go Sad

Thanks again Kolusu.
Regasds,
Ram

Are there still punch card machines? I haven't seen one in 26 years. What exactly do you mean by "punch"?

Kolusu,

Fileaid is capable of handling wild cards and this feature was handy. I have used it and was able to accomplish my task. Thanks again.

Semigeezer,

By punch I meant printing the members of PDS to a flat file. Even I haven't seen a punch card machines so far Rolling Eyes
