Hi,

I wanted to automatically send a mail in case the previous step abends. The message "RMXT file not recieved" should be send to the mail id of the concerned person. I saw one post where a JCL was given to sent a message and an attachment to the concerned mail id.But i didnot know how to modify the JCL for my requirement.

Can you please post that JCL? And, isn't your requirement to send the message, 'RMXT file not recieved' ?

Yes, my requirement is to send this message to the concerned person's mail id.Can i send this constant message directly from my JCL without using my mail id?

In the FROM field you can give any id - valid or invalid.
