Hi

I am actully printing a summary report for a five level control break in easytrieve. But in the lines portion I want to print a particular field in two different formats.

Ex : report....................summary ..........
title .............
heading.............
line 01 x1 x2 x3 x4 x5
Now in my print report I want my data under field X4 to appear in two formats say 100.00 & 100.000 depending on certain values held in say X3. That is the same filed should ba able to exihibt two different mask parameters based on certain conditions. How do we do it

Thanks
Sandeep

madisand,

I am not good in Eazytrieve, but just a basic idea. Why not declare two different WS variables with respective masks and based on the condition in X3, you move your amount field to respective mask field and display them ?

Thanks,

madisand,

You cannot have 2 mask characters for the same field in the same report. You need to write out 2 different reports based on the filed and merge them together.

Hope this helps...

Cheers
