mask-of-zorro,

CMFCPXCL is NOT a Mainframe compiler. It must be the mirco focus cobol compiler (guessing by MFC). If you are indeed using Micro focus cobol then you need to look up the ERRLIST compile directive. The ERRLIST(END) directive will give you the error listing.

Read chapters 5 thru 9 in the following link

http://supportline.microfocus.com/supportline/documentation/books/sx22sp1/cypubb.htm

Hope this helps...

Cheers

mask-of-zorro,

Are you compiling your program on the mainframe or on simulated version? If it is on the mainframe then check the sysprint for any error messages during compiling.

Check this link for vs cobol II compile procedures
