Do we have some system test tools to test COBOL project on Mainframe like Rational tools or other Merchcury tools?

Define Cobol Project ? Is it a single program or a bunch of programs? If it is a single program then you can use Xpeditor.

I mean a large Cobol project. They could be a bunch of programs. What tools do we have to do system test?

You submit each job in the sequence(You can use CA-7,zeke,OPC to schedule the jobs) and later on verify the end results.
