There might be two reasons:
1.Go to the command prompt in SPOOL and type PRE USERID* these will list out all jobs submitted by you.
If you find it is ok
2.In your shop there might be Job System which will route the output from SPOOL to a diffferent system where the outputs of the job runs are stored could be a different system like RMDS.If yiu have some kind of similar environment go to that and check for the job name.
Hope it helps. _________________ Shekar

the job may be unavailable due to the following reasons
1)Check your jobname has your alias id(login id)
2)In spool press F3 and there will be a option jobid.
(i)jobid------(if your jobname starts with other than your alias then give the first 5 characters of the jobname and give enter,so that it will display the job )
Cheers,

Another option is the MSGCLASS on the JOB card is invalid or missing and the output is being purged upon completion. _________________ Regards,

what are the msgclass, msglevel and class? all three parms can be set to file13 everything in the spool after execution - as well as automatically sending things to an archive.
You might just have to bit the bullet and embarrass yourself with one of your work-mates and just ask him/her, especially if your shop has archiving.
Because of your question it is probable that you are new to the shop or just new to this type of work. There are two type of questions: - those that indicate that you actually know something about computers
- those that show the opposite
Spool file disposition and archiving are shop oriented; experienced people always ask about these kind of things.
Even if the JOB fails, short of auto archiving, you should have something in the spool. Insure that your SDSF options/profile are appropriately set so that you can view. PF1 in SDSF will provide you with necessary guidance to traverse SDSF. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

As previously suggested, insure you have a notify parm in your job card; are you sure that your JOB executed?
provide your jobcard parms and someone can give you help. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

Look at the // and /* statements before the first exec to see if any redirection is done. |
