I have a file where the numeric items were created with definition of
PIC S9(7)V99 COMP and I need to interpret these values in the file. Can we do this using File Aid ?
Also if there is a generic forumula for interpreting these values please let me know.
I can see curly braces and Hex values in the last character but I have forgotten the interpretations. I used to have a reference document but I misplaced it.

An update to my earlier post ....the item is not defined as COMP..its just a
PIC S9(7)V99 |

Am sorry for the mess but I wanted to delete or edit the earlier post which was made in haste which I cannot hence pls. bear with me.
I am aware how to view the signed values in File Aid Browse mode ..against a copybook i.e so all I need at this point is a generic interpretation of such data because I dont wish to go record by record in File Aid Format mode to interpret each.
