Hi team,

I have a question, that , a job having 4 steps, 1step is createing new generation as (+1) and 3 step referreing the same GDG as (+1) , let assume this scenario, the job abends after successfull run of 1 step, if I restart what will happen, and in this screnario how do we refer the generation ?

Use (0) when you restart the job.

Why???

Someone answer this!

I got the answer by simulating the abend and verified the result. Thanks.

Thanks for your effort, Arun,
but i have one more question , when job abends, will it create the generation, or not ??
I heard, genertion will be created only at the end of the successful job.
