				| In our installation they are going to upgrade the DB2 version to 8. it seems it will support only'Enterprise COBOL Version 3 Release 2 or Release 3 (5655-G53), IBM COBOL for OS/390 & VM Version 2 Release 2 (5648-A25)',But as far i see in ChangeMAN we use COBOL 370. Are we in the right path or we need to change any thing...? please guide me ASAP....

				| arshadh,
Can you share us the source of your statement? As far as I know the only Prerequisite for DB2 V8 is that you need to run DB2 on a zSeries processors with z/OS V1R3 operating system or later. I think you are fine with cobol 370.

				| My question is Will COBOL 370 go easy with DB2V8 ..? (as our internal document says Enterprise COBOL is needed) | |

				| What did Kolusu's last sentence say?
Have you checked with the author of your internal document to see where he sourced the information? Have you double-checked that by visiting the IBM DB2 and/or Cobol sites?
