Google - TMON+DB2
If that is not what you are looking for your shop will have manuals. _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |

Thanks Nic for the pointer. However I have already tried googling but didn't find any ready reckoner for TMON. The option to get the manual is full of bureaucratic hurdles and hence i thought of seeking help on the forum.
Any input regarding basics of how to use TMON for DB2 performance monitoring is really appreciated.
Thank You |

If you are required to do the job then you should be provided with the tools (manual). If they won't give you the tools, then you are obviously not required to do the job! Someone (DBA/Sysprog) must have a manual you can borrow for 30 minutes. Or get them to give you a quick demo - and try F1 if you can sign on to the product.
Other than that then you will have to wait for someone with TMON experience to come along. _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |

Yes Terry, I too noticed it. But it is a material in internet, which is available for the public. Will posting the link to that page be a violation of proprietary rights? I didnt think so. Of course, it is a different ball game if ashutosh_agl3 tries to re-produce it or sell it. |

I also don't think posting the link violates any laws, but was just trying to point out that reproducing the material probably would be. _________________ ....Terry |
