ICE185A 0 AN U1095 ABEND WAS ISSUED BY DFSORT, ANOTHER PROGRAM OR AN EXIT (PHASE S 4)
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
Same JCL works fine with other input files of same format. (In fact I think it ran fine with this input it self). I searched the forum but only post I found is somewhat different.

Hmm ... this may be related to the use of STOPX37. Are you using that product? If so, can you disable it for this job to see if it still fails? _________________ Frank Yaeger - DFSORT Development Team (IBM)

A quick search on google tells me that it is a product of BMC and is used for VSAM.
but both my input and output are flat files. So i don't think we are using STOPX37.

I don't know anything about STOPX37, but I'd be very surprised if it is only used for VSAM files. At any rate, if you don't even know if you're using this product, then you're probably not the person in your shop who should be trying to diagnose the problem. Have your System Programmer open a problem report with IBM Service. IBM Service can collect the needed documentation, search the database of problems/solutions, etc. This is NOT the kind of thing that can be solved on a helpboard. _________________ Frank Yaeger - DFSORT Development Team (IBM)
