Dear Friends,

I would like to know how the SQLs are treated in an EASYTRIEVE program.

I know SQLs are replaced by equivalent calls during 'precompilation' in cobol programs and all the SQLs are formed in DBRM and the DBRM is bound with DB2 to provide packages/plans.

I am not sure if we have any 'Precompile' process for EASYTRIEVE programs. Are these sqls treated as dynamic sql calls?

Please throw some light on this. Also it would be great if you could share some manuals/materials that explains this process.

Thanks for your replies
Astro
