We have a CICS application and all of our files are VSAM with RLS. As our history files get larger, we are pushing our 2 hour maintanence window. Is there any way we can do batch maitanence on our files while they are in use? If not, is there a way to maintain our files with some sort of CICS transaction that would run in the background? I am fairly new to this system and dont know alot about CICS and RLS, so please bear with me Smile

Thanks,
Alan.....
