I too have some problems with line numbers:

1 How to renum column 1-6 without changing existing labels in column 73-80?

2 Sometimes if I type something on column 80, it wraps to next line. Then I have to use change command on column 80. Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks,
Diba.

Diba,

I haven't tried, but I'd say you need something like:

Code:

NUM OFF
NUM ON COB

I don't understand the second part of your post.

Vini,

I thought Mike was right, so I checked the manual. I still think he's right!

Different versions of ISPF maybe or was my observation off the mark..

However this is no more a problem at my end ..have resolved to leave the Line numbers alone Very Happy. Anyone who still intends to use them would surprise me though Smile .
