I am getting some error messages while compiling a C++-DB2 code, Its a warning message which is as below.
DSNH526I W DSNHOPTS DSNHDECP SPECIFIES AN UNDEFINED (0) VALUE FOR "ASCCSID".. NOTIFY THE SYSTEM PROGRAMMER
DSNH527I W DSNHOPTS THE PRECOMPILER IS USING THE DB2-SUPPLIED DSNHDECP MODULE. THIS MODULE WILL BE ELIMINATED BY FUTURE VERSI
ON OF DB2. NOTIFY THE SYSTEM PROGRAMMER
DSNH050I I DSNHMAIN WARNINGS HAVE BEEN SUPPRESSED DUE TO LACK OF TABLE DECLARATIONS
I would like to know the following:
1. Can you please clarify whether this is due to any version conflict of the pre-compiler.
2 . Further please clarify is there any impact upon the application being compiled with this pre-compiler.
Regards, |

Nivedita,
Second warning - It only says that a program may no tbe available in later versions of DB2. It may not affect your pre compilation as of now.
Firts warning - Are you using Star SQL as the ODBC driver. It looks that you have to specify a correct parm for the ascii. Since in MVS the data is stored in EBCDIC and while it is retrieved on a PC it shoul dbe in ASCII one needs to specify this parameter with the appropriate ascii code.
Have a look at the following for more details
