Gurus'
I am trying to punch the members of a PDS and I am using IEBPTPCH utility. I am intereseted in punching only a few members based on the member name. I want to punch members whose name starts with JV,JC or JE. Is it possible to do so
Thanks,
Ram |

Kolusu,
My earlier question was to get the member names only. The present one is related to printing the contents of the members. I tried searching all the manuals to find if there is a way to use wildcards in IEBPTPCH. Thanks for letting me know that the wild card feature is not supported. I was looking for a way for punching a few members instead of all. Looks like there is no other go
Thanks again Kolusu.
Regasds,

Are there still punch card machines? I haven't seen one in 26 years. What exactly do you mean by "punch"? |

Kolusu,
Fileaid is capable of handling wild cards and this feature was handy. I have used it and was able to accomplish my task. Thanks again.
Semigeezer,
By punch I meant printing the members of PDS to a flat file. Even I haven't seen a punch card machines so far |
